An incredible amount of time, effort, and passion was invested building an experience for Phish's planned Curveball festival this weekend, before it was cancelled. Fan Adam Dyda was on site to capture the eerie, almost Scott Haefner-like quality of the unpopulated environment, and we're honored to be able to share some of his pictures here (17 total), to honor those who worked so hard to make Curveball what it was meant to be.

And since we're entirely volunteer – with no office, salaries, or paid staff – administrative costs are less than 2% of revenues! So far, we've distributed over $2 million to support music education for children – hundreds of grants in all 50 states, with more on the way.
And here's our flag flying over our RV on Wednesday. Support courtesy of National Rent-A-Fence. Good times, Good times.
Props to the donut vendor from Corning with the deeply fried and discounted donuts for a memorable festival. The last rock festival that will ever be held at Watkins Glen International.
BTW, one of the weirdest things about this was that there was no announcement to anyone already on site of the cancellation. No one going through the campgrounds with a bullhorn, no flyers, no one on traffic or security guiding people out of there leaving the festival. You found out by people with their smartphones still on who were reading Twitter or other social media chitchat about the cancellation. I'm sure there were some non-English speaking campers who were totally mystified why everyone was packing up and leaving,
This weekend would have been so cool. Imagine the lights shooting onto that giant silver ball and reflecting into the sky...
ughk.
Imagine the band being inside said ball with lights reflecting off of it.
Enjoyed looking at the pictures and what could have been this weekend! I wish they at least let us in the venue Friday night to see all this in person, oh well.
The last ever? Please, esplain.
My heart goes out to all who were so close and yet so far. May the music Gods play on for you in your endless dreams.
