MYSTERY JAM MONDAY PART 152

We now bring you live to another after-school special edition of Phish.net's Mystery Jam Monday! You know the drill: be the first person to identify the song and date of the mystery jam clip and win one MP3 download courtesy of our friends at LivePhish.com / Nugs.Net. Each person gets one guess per day, with the second “day” starting after I post the hint. A hint will be posted on Tuesday if necessary, with the answer to follow on Wednesday. Good luck!

Answer: With his fifth win in the last seventeen MJMs, @PhreePhish wins this week's MP3 download by identifying the 7/12/00 Crosseyed And Painless. Well done!

plICCULUS Definitely 2.0 era sounding.....sounds kinda like part of the tower jam from It....it's not though.

I think it's from Spac '04, possibly Runaway Jim

uctweezer Nice PhreePhish, you're en fuego! I had checked the Pittsburgh C&P from '03 but thought it was something from '98 or '99. I should really brush up on some '00, I haven't listened to too many shows from that year.

funkbeard magical sound when they breakout the (with). there's actually talkers yammering on the audience source. whatever happened to just treasuring the moment and taking it in, allowing the music to affect you however you respond to it, and decide for yourself if it's good? these audience tapes reveal so many talkers who go to the show to be in their own world. there's got to be better places for talking other than right in front of the band while they attempt to have a conversation with you.

I couldn't have said it better.

nichobert I guess that's what happens when you go see a rock band and they play one of those "let the humpbacks sing you to sleep" discs while they go hide in the back and play flag football

Word. I've heard RCMH, most of Japan (I think 6/14/00 is my second favorite show ever after 12/30/97), the first two nights of Deer Creek (d'oh! for this MJM), Tweeter, Vegas, and of course my second and third shows, 10/6/00 and 10/7/00. I guess I haven't actually missed too much, but I'm a little weak on July and September :)
