conradjohansen Best video yet. Gordeaux.

phisherman glad to see they are coming out west, unfortunately dicks sporting goods center is the worst venue i have ever been to. with the number of great venues to choose from (red rocks being the obvious) it is unfortunate to see them going to the venue with the biggest capacity.

frantic0blivion that was pretty awesome. gordeaux - oh man that guy is a character

so what do we think about the change of pace? calling oklahoma as the sleeper show. no even the phish can get me to go to that godforsaken state

some difficult/backtracking travel for anyone planning on doing the entire leg

i like seeing them play new/different places

agree about the choice of dicks as not the best. not a huge fan of soccer stadium shows. guess i'll end up going this year though

HenryHolland Great, my "local" show in Long Beach is going to be the "warm up" show. :-(

What was wrong with the Dick's shows last year? I had a great time and it was so nice to have clean bathrooms and plenty of concessions right there at set break, not 1/2 mile away in a muddy field. I just hope that they open up more aisles after the shows so that there's not the crush at one or two like last year.

$158 starting price for the Bill Graham shows on Stub Hub.

my biggest issue with dicks is that it is sort of a sellout move. they have played legendary runs at red rocks and they are now playing where the get paid more money.

Walfredo77 Why so hard on OK? There are plenty of good people here who have been waiting for years for this day. The venue is decent enough. There is a lot to do in downtown OKC. There is even a casino and horse racing right across the street. The zoo itself is pretty cool.

CreatureoftheNight No Gorge make me sad, too. Oregon also got passed again ;)
On the other hand, it's a good thing the shows are spread over most of the country instead of 20 shows in the NE.
If the band is trying to "make money" out west, they wouldn't play BGCA. Dick's may not be perfect, but it does have camping, easy access, GA seating and the knowledge that everyone gets a ticket. The obvious love the band has for the location and the killer sunsets before they take the stage makes up for a lot.

kayakush22 I am down with everyone in the Pac NW I am a little pissed that they couldn't throw us a bone. Now I am going to have to play the casino to get tickets to the bay area shows. Pelham AL show wtf, I don't why they would even go to that place last time I went their only 2 out of 5 came back because the cops are so bad there.

Phish_N_Grits Going to LB and SF shows since I live in Cali. Thinking of making the trek out to Dick's as well but sounds like the reviews on the place vary quite a bit. Never been there but read in Glide Mag Online "Last year’s three-night stand was among the best of the era and featured one highlight after another."

I would freakin' love it if they played the Gorge but looks like that isn't going to happen. The same Glide article I referenced earlier said “No additional Phish dates will be announced for Summer or Fall of 2012.” Does this mean no Halloween show? Nothing more until New Year's?
